Most of our products are handknitted by skilled women artisans, emphasizing sustainable and ethical practices, in the Faroe Islands, Jordan and Peru. We use high-quality natural fibers to create unique knitwear pieces. We work mostly with Faroese wool, which is a byproduct.
Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in size, fit, color and texture may occur. These differences add to the uniqueness and charm of each piece.
We recommend carefully reading the instructions in each product.
Wool is an incredible natural fiber with self-cleaning properties. In our homes in the Faroe Islands, we often simply hang our knitwear outside to freshen it up—letting nature do the work!
If you do choose to wash your wool knitwear, here are our recommendations:
- Dry Cleaning: This is generally the safest option for maintaining the quality of your knitwear.
- Hand Washing:
- Use cold water and a mild detergent designed for delicate fabrics.
- Gently submerge the knitwear and avoid vigorous rubbing.
After rinsing, lay it flat on a clean towel to dry.
Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, as this can cause it to lose its shape or damage the fibers.
For more tips and detailed care instructions, check out our Care Guides.
We use natural fibers such as wool, alpaca, mohair, silk and organic cotton, sourced responsibly to ensure sustainability and comfort.
Yes, sustainability is at the core of our brand. We prioritize eco-friendly materials and ethical production methods to minimize our environmental impact.
Refer to our sizing chart available on each product page. If you are between sizes or need further assistance, please contact our customer service team for personalized guidance.
Currently, we do not offer custom sizing. However, our range includes various sizes to accommodate different body types.
If your item doesn't fit, you can return it within 30 days of receipt, provided it meets our return conditions. Please refer to our return policy for more details.
We focus on sustainable materials, ethical production, and minimizing waste. Our commitment to the environment and fair labor practices defines our brand ethos.
Our products are handcrafted in the Faroe Islands and other locations, collaborating with artisans who share our values.
Skilled women artisans who we know by name and call our friends. Most from the Faroes, but others from remote communities in Jordan, Peru and Lithuania, censuring fair wages and safe working conditions.

Gudrun & Gudrun will pay the refund within 14 days of the date on which we have received your notice of withdrawal, under the condition that Gudrun & Gudrun has received the product/s from you. The refund is made using the same payment method you used at the purchase.
If you have chosen an invoice via Klarna as your payment method and wish to withdraw only a part of an order, please contact Klarna and they will put your invoice on hold. Once your withdrawal is accepted by Gudrun & Gudrun, a new invoice will be sent to you with the products you wish to keep. If you paid the invoice prior to your withdrawal, the amount relating to your withdrawal will be refunded.
Please note that Gudrun & Gudrun wont refund the shipping costs.
Please note that Gudrun & Gudrun only issues a full refund if the product/s are in the same conditions as at the time of delivery. If the products’ value has diminished due to your handling of the products to a greater extent than is necessary in order to ascertain its characteristics or function, you have an obligation to reimburse us. Thus, Gudrun & Gudrun then has the right to withhold such amount of the refund.
To avoid a deduction, please make sure all products are in the exact same condition as you when received them, with tag and seal still attached. Please note that we do not accept returns or claims of Gudrun & Gudrun’s items bought from other retailers or second hand sites.
Shipping costs for returning the products.
