‘Bindiklubbur’ (knitting klubb)
For generations, while Faroese men braved the seas, the women held their communities together. They managed their households, raised their children, and tended to their land.
Central to this way of life were their knitting clubs - a forum for them to come together, share stories, exchange techniques, and provide support. These clubs became a symbol of the strength and solidarity that continues to define our systurbond.
Klubb Guðrun is our tribute to this longstanding practice—a space created by women, for women, and a celebration of our collective strength.

Guðrun & Guðrun products are hand-knitted by women in the Faroe Islands, Jordan, and Peru. We know them all by name.
We honor their contributions by ensuring they remain well-treated, well-trained, gainfully-employed, and fairly-paid.
